Our founder’s hands-on experience with small businesses means we understand the unique challenges you face. We don’t just manage your finances; we partner with you to build a strong financial foundation, providing insights and strategies that can help your business thrive. With us, you’re getting more than just a bookkeeper—you’re getting a seasoned financial partner committed to your success.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the pricing determined?

Our pricing is based on a flat monthly fee that is customized according to the number of transactions processed and the number of accounts that need to be reconciled each month.

What is considered a transaction?

A transaction includes any financial activity, such as deposits, withdrawals, invoices, bill payments, and transfers. Each of these counts as a single transaction.

What do you mean by accounts that need to be reconciled?

Accounts to be reconciled include bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts that require regular reconciliation to ensure your records match your bank statements.

How do I know how many transactions and accounts I have?

You can estimate the number of transactions by looking at your monthly activity, such as the number of sales, expenses, and other financial operations. The accounts needing reconciliation typically include your primary business bank account, credit cards, and any other financial accounts.

Can I change my pricing plan if my transaction volume changes?

Yes, our service is flexible. If your transaction volume or the number of accounts changes, your pricing can be adjusted accordingly. Just let us know, and we’ll update your plan.

Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?

Our pricing is straightforward with no hidden fees. However, if you have special requirements outside of standard bookkeeping services, such as forensic accounting or tax preparation, there may be additional charges.

How often will I be billed?

Billing is done monthly, based on the agreed-upon flat rate tailored to your transaction volume and the number of accounts.

How do I get started with pricing for my business?

Contact us for a consultation. We’ll assess your bookkeeping needs, discuss your transaction volume, the number of accounts, and provide you with a customized pricing quote.

We use QuickBooks Online to complete your books. You won’t need any other software to work with QuickBooks—we do everything within the platform. Every report accessible in QuickBooks can be exported to an Excel file for easy sharing with anyone from business partners to accountants.

Your bookkeeper reconciles your accounts, categorizes your transactions, and produces your financial statements. They also make adjustments to your books to ensure they’re tax-compliant. Occasionally your bookkeeper might need your input on things like categorizing a transaction properly, but we try our best to make bookkeeping as hands-off as possible for you.

You can also book a call with your bookkeeper (or send them a message) whenever you’d like. There’s no extra fee or hourly charges for support—we’re always happy to nerd out about bookkeeping and your financial statements.

Yep! You can add any amount of Catch Up bookkeeping to the monthly plan. No matter how far behind you are (yes, even years behind), we can get you caught up quickly.
No, our bookkeeping service does not file taxes. However, we can refer you to a trusted CPA firm that specializes in tax preparation and filing. Our role is to ensure your financial records are accurate and up-to-date, which makes the tax filing process smoother with a CPA.
